The defect: Xtreme Outdoors is recalling certain 2021 MyPod travel trailers. The support bracket that secures the trailer shell to the frame may be insufficient, which could cause the trailer shell to detach.
The risk: A detached trailer shell can create a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect the support bracket, and replace the frame if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 16, 2021. Owners may contact Xtreme Outdoors customer service at 1-740-788-9560.

Safety recall

Manufacturer communication
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.
