2007 Yamaha XV250 Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

IN JUNE 2008, I WAS SOLD A 2007 YAMAHA MORPHOUS SCOOTER FROM CENTRAL FLORIDA POWER SPORTS IN KISSIMMEE, FL. I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED THAT THERE WERE TWO RECALLS ON THIS SCOOTER UNTIL A MONTH LATER WHEN I BROUGHT THE SCOOTER IN FOR SERVICE. I LATER FOUND OUT FROM ANOTHER YAMAHA CERTIFIED DEALERSHIP THAT ONE RECALL HAD BEEN ON THE BIKE FOR ABOUT 8 MONTHS (THE OTHER WAS BRAND NEW). CENTRAL FLORIDA POWER SPORTS SOLD AND ALLOWED ME TO DRIVE AN UNSAFE SCOOTER FOR A MONTH AND I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST THEM BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT. *TR

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
