The defect: Voyager Industries, Inc. (Voyager Industries) is recalling certain 2018-2020 Yetti Fish House Angler, Grand Excape, and Traxx trailers. The vehicles may be missing retainer clips at the spindle nut, potentially causing the spindle nut to loosen and fall off.
The risk: If the spindle nut loosens or fall off, the wheel may come off the axle assembly, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Voyager Industries will notify owners, and, if missing, dealers will install retainer clips at the spindle nut, free of charge. The recall began November 11, 2019. Owners may contact Voyager Industries customer service at 1-800-834-4940.

Safety recall
A safety recall is issued when a manufacturer or NHTSA determines that a vehicle has a safety-related defect or does not comply with a federal motor vehicle safety standard. Recall repairs are free. Safety investigation
NHTSA opens an investigation to examine whether a safety defect may exist. An open investigation is not a determination that a defect exists, and many investigations close without a recall. Investigations can, however, lead to one.
Manufacturer communication
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.
