What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2005 Action Auto Body Custom, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

From owner reports, verbatim
WHILE RIDING MY 2005 PHANTOM CHOPPER ON THE HIGHWAY, THE DOWN TUBE CRACKED. NOT THE WELDS. THE FRAME. I WAS ABLE TO STOP THE BIKE. AFTER CONTACTING MANUFACTURE I SENT HIM PICTURES. HE BASICALLY TOLD ME ITS NOT HIS PROBLEM. I HAD THE BIKE TOWED TO A REPUTABLE SHOP AND THEY SAID THE DOWN TUBE SHOULD BE THICKER WITH LARGER GUSSETING OR SUPPORT RODS BECAUSE OF THE RAKE OF THE CHASSIS. IF FRAME CRACKED ALL THE WAY THE FRONT FORKS WOULD HAVE RIPPED MY HEAD OFF. THE BIKE IS NOT LISTED IN YOUR SELECTION. IT'S A 2005 PHANTOM CHOPPER. MODEL DEVASTATOR 300. I DID SOME RESEARCH AND FOUND OUT THAT HE DESIGNED IT AND HE WAS WARNED THAT IT WOULD PROBABLY BREAK. *TR
Too few reports in this category for a page of its own — they appear in the full complaint list.
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
