There were no warning lights prior to driving and the vehicle stopping on the highway 2 times. Now the warning lights is constant and referencing the recall from 09/2025. Still no remedy for the recall. Mopar and the Alfa Romeo dealership have not contacted me regarding fixing the problem. A class action lawsuit needs to be filed

The vehicle was then taken to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed the failure as a faulty fuel module requiring replacement. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but offered no financial assistance and advised the contact not to drive the vehicle. The vehicle randomly has a yellow A! error code, then it loses power while driving, when going up a hill, sometimes barely makes it. No mechanics can figure this out and its a topic of complaints amongst numerous forums regarding this vehicle. Why isn't there a recall on this?

Despite the seriousness of the outstanding recall (25V-586), which Stellantis acknowledges can result in a sudden and complete loss of engine power at high speeds, Alfa Romeo/Stellantis have provided exactly zero updates in nearly 8 months since the recall was announced. In speaking with my dealer, I’ve learned that Alfa Romeo/Stellantis were initially providing vague estimates for when they expected a recall fix to be available but have since stopped providing information to the dealers altogether. The manufacturer’s behavior in the face of such a serious safety risk is alarming and leads me to question whether a fix is actually even under development or will ever be available. Without action or the threat of action by the government to force the manufacturer to comply with their obligations to vehicle owners I have no confidence that this serious safety issue will be satisfactorily addressed at all, much less in a timely manner.
Subject: Formal Demand for Remedy – Safety Recall / 2019 Alfa Romeo Stelvio (VIN: [XXX] ) To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally demand immediate resolution regarding a serious safety recall affecting my 2019 Alfa Romeo Stelvio (VIN: [XXX] ). The recall, issued in September 2025, involves a defect in the fuel delivery module that may result in a loss of motive power. This defect presents a significant safety hazard, increasing the risk of a crash, injury, or worse. Despite the severity of this issue, I have not been provided with a remedy, repair timeline, or adequate alternative solution. It is unacceptable that I am expected to continue operating—or assume the risk of operating—a vehicle with a known safety defect and no available fix. This situation has caused ongoing concern, inconvenience, and diminished confidence in the safety and reliability of the vehicle. Given the lack of a timely and effective remedy, I am formally requesting that Alfa Romeo take one of the following actions immediately: Provide a permanent repair within a reasonable and clearly defined timeframe; OR Repurchase (buy back) the vehicle at fair market value; OR Provide a comparable replacement vehicle at no cost to me If this matter is not resolved promptly, I am prepared to pursue further action, including but not limited to filing additional complaints with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), seeking relief under applicable state lemon laws, and exploring other legal remedies available to me. While pulling out, vehicle decelerated as I was pressing the gas. Almost hit by another vehicle. Managed to avoid being hit and car still would not accelerate. Ultimately, pulling over at store and parking. Contacted manufacter because it was related to the recall, but they wasnt able to do anything about it. Im unable to drive it and im still paying for it. no remedies were offered
the vehicle has developed the exact symptoms described in the recall, including: Loss of power Check Engine Light Excessive oil consumption Electronic throttle control warnings / drivability issues My authorized dealer has confirmed that the recall is open but states parts are not available. This leaves me with an unsafe and unreliable vehicle.

The contact later received a recall notice for NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V586000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The dealer was notified of the failure but refused to acknowledge the recall. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was unknown.

The contact stated that whenever the check engine warning light illuminated on Alfa Romeo vehicles, the vehicle remained undrivable until the vehicle was repaired. My car stopped and would not turn back on while in the middle lane of a busy highway. We were stopped on the highway >20min until police arrived to block the lanes so we could safely exit the vehicle and a tow truck could safely retrieve it. The ground strap underneath the vehicle that grounds the main engine harness was broken. As a result the electrical short resulted in burning/melting of several spots on the harness. There was no warning ahead of time and I’ve learned that this is a known issue. We are very lucky that this did not lead to a crash, injury or death.

The vehicle has been in the shop since August 2025 attempting to be fixed. I have been making monthly payments and have not been offered any rental assistance or vehicle loaner assistance. My vehicle has multiple safety recalls and no current remedy.
Fuel pump failed as in recall 25V586000 , vehicle stalled in middle of an intersection of a busy road , could not get vehicle into neutral to push out of road. Manufacturers recall does not include my vehicle vin (yet)
I received Safety Recall 25V-586 regarding the fuel pump defect on my 2019 Alfa Romeo Stelvio. The notice states that the vehicle can lose drive power without warning, which could lead to a crash. However, the letter also says that the remedy for this condition is not currently available. I am extremely concerned for my safety because I rely on this vehicle for daily driving, and I do not feel it is safe to operate a car that could suddenly lose power at any time. The manufacturer has acknowledged the risk, but no repair or interim solution has been provided. I have also noticed occasional hesitation and reduced power while driving, which makes me worry that the issue may already be occurring. I am requesting that NHTSA review this issue and require Alfa Romeo to provide an immediate remedy, loaner vehicle, or buyback for affected owners until the fix becomes available. This situation places drivers and passengers at serious risk.

A corroded faulty ground strap under the car, which is connected to the transmission caused the engine wiring harness to overload a smaller ground wire in the wheel well, then continued to melt other sections of the main engine wiring harness when trying to start the car. This is only a $200 part, but caused $6k+ of damages calling for a labor intensive job of replacing the entire engine wiring harness. The manufacturer does not provide any information on this to the owner as a maintenance issue or something to keep an eye on to prevent this issue. It's obviously a defect.
