The defect: Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2023-2026 Service Body, Aerial Device, Pressure Digger, Spray Truck, and Digger Derrick vehicles. The low tire pressure rating printed on the final stage certification label is incorrect.
The risk: An incorrect pressure rating may lead to underinflated tires, increasing the risk of a tire blowout or a crash.
The remedy: Altec will inspect and replace the incorrect certification label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 11, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3294.

The defect: Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Altec Aerial Device, Digger Derrick, and Pressure Digger vehicles. The chassis ignition circuit may be overloaded, which can result in a blown fuse and cause an engine shutdown.
The risk: An engine shutdown increases the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Altec will rewire the accessory circuit, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 8, 2024. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3185.

Altec has learned that the pole setter boss was not welded to specification on certain HD35A-22 units built from September 2008 to April 2024. This can lead to cracks in the pole setter tube outer weldment.
