RECEIVED RECALL 02V278000 CONCERNING ABS FAILURE. WHILE DRIVING AT 30 MPH, THE CONSUMER SAW SMOKE COMING OUT FROM THE FRONT WHEELS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND THE DEALER LEARNED THAT A RECALL WAS IN EFFECT. THE DEALER PRESENTED A SET OF TEMPORARY PARTS TO FIX THE PROBLEM. THE CONSUMER WAITED FOR EIGHT MONTHS FOR THE REQUIRED PARTS TO ARRIVE THEN THE DEALER PRESENTED A SET OF TEMPORARY PARTS TO FIX THE PROBLEM. *AK *SCC *JB
WHILE APPLYING THE BRAKES ON A MOTOR HOME AND WITHOUT WARNING BRAKE LIGHT APPEARED ON THE DASHBOARD. ALSO, THERE SMOKE WAS COMING FROM THE LEFT FRONT WHEEL, AND OIL LEAKED FROM IN SIDE OF WHEEL BEARING. HEAT KNOCKED OUT THE ABS BRAKING SYSTEM, CAUSING THE PEDAL TO GO ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE FLOOR. *AK THE WHEEL BEARINGS WERE IN AN OIL BATH. BOTH SIDES HAD THE OIL BOILING OUT THE CENTER HOLE. THE LEFT FRONT ROTORS HAS BEEN SO HOT THAT IT CHANGED THE COLOR OF THE STEEL. *NLM

WHILE APPLYING THE BRAKES ON A MOTOR HOME AND WITHOUT WARNING BRAKE LIGHT APPEARED ON THE DASHBOARD. ALSO, THERE SMOKE WAS COMING FROM THE LEFT FRONT WHEEL, AND OIL LEAKED FROM IN SIDE OF WHEEL BEARING. VEHICLE LEFT TIRE BLEW OUT WHILE DRIVING.*MR THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED TWO BLOW OUTS. THE FIRST TIME THE DRIVERS SIDE FRONT TIRE BLEW OUT WHILE DRIVING. THE SECOND TIME THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT TIRE BLEW OUT WHILE DRIVING. THIS TIRE CAUSED DAMAGE TOT HE FUEL LINE WHICH CAUSED FUEL TO LEAK INTO THE HOT ROTORS. ANOTHER VEHICLE WAS DAMAGED BY THE FLYING RUBBER. THE TIRE WAS SENT TO THE CONSUMER INSURANCE COMPANY FOR AN INDEPENDENT EVALUATION. *NLM
