Our database holds 3 NHTSA owner-reported complaints for the 2007 Bigdog Mastiff. Each one is a report filed by an owner or driver and published by NHTSA without most of them being verified. A complaint is not a confirmed defect, not a recall and not a manufacturer bulletin. Narratives are shown exactly as filed.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 BIG DOG MASTIFF. THE CONTACT RECEIVED THREE RECALL NOTICES FOR HIS VEHICLE IN DECEMBER OF 2007, JANUARY OF 2008, AND MARCH OF 2008. HE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR REPAIR, BUT THEY STATED THAT NO ONE WAS AVAILABLE TO SERVICE THE VEHICLE. WHEN HE CALLED THE DEALER BACK, HE WAS INFORMED THAT THEY WERE GOING OUT OF BUSINESS. HE ATTEMPTED TO CALL THE MANUFACTURER, BUT COULD NOT REACH A REPRESENTATIVE. THE THREE RECALLS WERE IN REGARDS TO THE REAR FENDER STRUT BOLT, A VOLTAGE REGULATOR, AND A BALANCING ISSUE. THE RECALL NUMBERS WERE UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 1,500 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 1,000.
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
