The clutch plates do not tolerate frequent and prolonged operation at the clutch friction zone, causing a shorter service life in motorcycles that see intensive use

SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC
Details: BMW Motorrad has ascertained that in the process of assembly, on some motorcycles even though ABS connector (2) was connected to ABS pressure modulator (3), retaining clip (1) is not correctly engaged in the lock (black arrow).
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition.
