The defect: Braun Corporation (Braun) is recalling certain 2026 Chevrolet Traverse vehicles. The fuel fill line may be missing a braze connection, allowing fuel to leak.
The risk: A fuel leak increases the risk of fire.
The remedy: Dealers will replace the fuel fill assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed beginning August 3, 2026. Owners may contact Braun's customer service at 1-800-488-0359.

Manufacturer communication
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.
