2024 Buick Envista Driver assistance Problems

The data screen for navigation has gone blank several times. A few times previously but 3 times in the past 2 days. The speedometer is viable but not the radio or navigation. Adaptive cruise control has occasionally alerted that it is not available & shuts off on its own. An alert yesterday stated power steering needs to be serviced but nothing is wrong. The car has turned off as I started to pull out into traffic & turned back on its self 3 times today. One time in the morning on my way to the gym at a stop light when it turned green when I went to proceed the car turned off and turn back on its self, leaving the gym pulling out of the parking lot pulling out into traffic it turned off & back on by itself & this evening after stoping at a store I stopped at the exit & when I went to pull out in traffic the car turned off & back on again by itself. Also the delay wipers do not come on themselves.

My son's car was hit by this Buick while he was making a right turn. The driver of the Buick was not paying attention and thought he had already turned. She accelerated into him and AEB did not prevent it. We are not sure why this Buick's ADAS failed. It is not our car, but that of the person who hit us. I don't know the answers to the above question as we were not the driver and it is not our car. Our concern is how could the car allow such an impact to occur especially at low speed. I was driving and while trying to put on brakes and stop I couldn't . I noticed that the Antilock Braking System light came on along with other lights. I almost hit a car because I could not stop. I was very frantic and scared. I could have hurt someone including myself. I am still shaken by this. I called roadside service and they towed it to Suntrup Buick in St. Peters Mo. After the car was delivered to them they called me 30 minutes later saying "no lights are on". I told them I have onstar and if they would like I can send them the alert they sent on my app. The alert is still there which says "Schedule service now". Braking system requires your attention now". I also have snapshots of the warning notice. I don't want a vehicle that has brake issues ..this could have cost me my life.

There was a shortage in the blinkers, and when a right turn was being made due to the blinker, not working, the car was snatched to the left, due to the lane assist being on which almost caused an accident.

My 2024 Buick Envista rear backup camera is no longer operational. The camera has failed just after 14 months of new car purchase. The warranty is void due to mileage. There are many safety concerns due to camera failure including car and pedestrian collision. There are many reports of these cameras failing within one year of production of the Envista and should be recalled and repaired at no cost to the owner.

On January 15, 2025, my front panel went completely blank (black screen) moments after driving off a parking lot. I pulled over, turned the car off to try to reset it, but didn’t work. Tried this 3-4 different times in different locations. I also had no exterior lights working. My main lights, brake and headlights were not functioning. This was very stressful and luckily it was still daylight, so I returned home immediately. I took a video of this incident for my records. Next day, the panel is working properly.

While driving down the road to work on the expressway both my screens blacked out couldn’t see my speed and then came back on it did this multiples times on my 30 minute drive to work one way and multiple times on my 30 minute drive home. It’s done this for the last week. It’s very scary to know you can’t see your speed or don’t know if your car is suddenly going to shut off going down an expressway that people are going 75 mph and could hit me. It shows my vin is not part of the recall but is doing exactly what the recall is describing.

The instrument panel intermittently blacks out during vehicle startup or while driving. I haven't had my vehicle for 30 days and it's happened many many times, almost caused an accident due to the distraction it has caused. No warning signs prior to the screen blacking out. Service calibrated/reprogrammed the radio but issues have continued. I have several photos and videos of the numerous times this has happened.

The Cruise control do not adapt to the speed of the vehicle in front of me like it’s supposed to and all of sudden windows won’t go up or down. Car is falling apart even though it’s new how is that possible.
