The defect: General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Cadillac Vistiq vehicles. When the power fold feature is activated, the third-row power seatback may fail to reverse when enountering a person.
The risk: A person, especially a child, may be trapped by a rear powered seatback, increasing their risk of injury.
The remedy: Dealers will reprogram the software for the folding seat module, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 6, 2026. Owners may contact Cadillac customer service at 1-800-333-4223. The manufacturer's number for this recall is N262555780. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on June 18, 2026.

They delivered a new car with the carpet behind the drivers pedals sticking up and out. I brought it to the dealership and they stated that this model is delivered that way. That seemed unbelievable, so I contacted Cadillac national. They just called the dealership and asked them if they repaired it, which they said they did. They did not.

When the sun is out, there is a reflection off of the dash that appears on the window interfering with your forward vision.
