What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2004 Carriage Carri-Lite, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

THIS IS NOT REALLY A COMPLAINT AS MUCH AS INFO FOR OTHER OWNERS. I DISCOVERED A LEAK IN THE MAIN PRESSURIZED FUEL LINE BETWEEN THE TANK AND THE FUEL FILTER. IT WAS CAUSED BY THE MAIN BODY MOUNTS RUBBING AGAINST IT. I HAD TO REPLACE IT. WHEN I PUT THE NEW ONE IN I REPOSITIONED THE MOUNTS JUST 3/4" LOWER SO THE FUEL LINE & THE MOUNT NO LONGER MAKE CONTACT. I SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY MORE PROBLEMS. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN A MAJOR FIRE IF FUEL WAS SPRAYING OUT OF THE PRESSURIZED LINE. IF THERE IS ANY WAY TO NOTIFY OTHER OWNERS TO CHECK THEIR UNITS IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA. MY UNIT IS A CARRI-GO MODEL 2330 BUILT BY CARRIAGE AND HAS JUST 49,000 MILES ON IT. *TR
Too few reports in this category for a page of its own — they appear in the full complaint list.
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
