1997 Chevrolet G25 Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

THE TRANSMISSION PROBLEM WAS NOT DELINEATED BUT ALL OF THE PROBLEMS WITH THE VAN HAVE BEEN ELECTRICAL IN NATURE. THE AIR CONDITIONING HAS INTERMITTENTLY NOT WORKED AND THE BATTERY SAVING FEATURE OF THE VAN WAS USED CONTINUOUSLY FOR THE FIRST 6 MONTHS OF THE CARS USE. THE VAN HAS BEEN SERVICED 13 TIMES IN THE FIRST YEAR. MOST OF THE WORK HAS BEEN UNDER WARANTEE BUT THE PROBLEMS HAVE BEEN CONSTANT.
