1994 Chevrolet K Series Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

THERE ARE SEVERAL ACTIVE RECALLS ON THE FUNCTIONALITY OF THE WIPERS ON 1994+ CHEVROLET 2&4WD C/K SERIES (NHTSA 03V159000 AND NHTSA 98V150001 SPECIFICALLY), WHEN MINE FAILED AS HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF OTHERS DUE TO THE DEFECTIVE SOLDER ON THE CIRCUIT BOARD, CHEVROLET STATED THEY WOULD NOT REPAIR FREE AS STATED ON THE NHTSA SITE, AND THEY AREN'T AFFILIATED WITH THEM, AND WOULD NOT REPAIR THE DEFECTIVE EQUIPMENT, REGARDLESS OF BEING A SAFETY ISSUE, AND BEING THE EXACT PART STATED IN THE RECALLS. I PAID THE $100.23 FOR THE BOARD REPLACEMENT.
