1995 Chevrolet M Series Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

Steering
Filed Jan 16, 2010

THE POWER STEERING ON MY 1995 CHEVY MALIBU WILL STOP WORKING AND DASH INDICATOR WILL SAY POWER STEERING. I HAVE TO SHUT THE CAR OFF AND RE-START CAR AND MOST OF THE TIME IT WILL START WORKING AGAIN. WHEN THE STEERING GOES OUT YOU CAN NOT TURN WHEEL, AND THERE COULD BE DEATHS CAUSED DUE TO NOT STEERING. CHEVY SHOULD RECALL THIS DEATH TRAP WAITING TO HAPPEN. *TR
