What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2009 Chevrolet T7500, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

MY HUSBAND TRAVELS BUILDING MCDONALD'S ALL OVER THE U.S. AND WHILE HE WAS IN LOUISIANA ON AUGUST 21ST THE FRONT PASSENGER TIRE BLEW CAUSING SEVERE DAMAGE TO THE TRUCK. HE HAD JUST HAD THE KUMHO TIRES PUT ON THE PREVIOUS WEEK. THEN THE FOLLOWING WEEK ON AUGUST 28TH THE BACK PASSENGER TIRE BLEW AND DID MORE SEVERE DAMAGE TO THE TRUCK. WE HAD TO PAY FOR ALL DAMAGE TO THE TRUCK WITH THE PROMISE FROM KUMHO TO RECEIVE A CHECK REIMBURSING US FOR THE DAMAGE. WE FOLLOWED ALL OF THEIR INSTRUCTIONS AND FILLED OUT ALL PAPERWORK WITH THE PROMISE OF A CHECK SEVERAL WEEKS AGO!!! WE HAVE NOT SEEN THE CHECK OR HEARD BACK FROM WILLIAM SULCA (CLAIMS MANAGER) THAT I HAVE REPEATEDLY CALLED. SINCE WE HAD TO PAY FOR THE DAMAGE AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE FUNDS PROMISED OUR BILLS CAN NOT BE PAID AND OUR VERY GOOD CREDIT IS BEING DESTROYED. I AM A VERY SICK WOMAN AND MY HUSBAND DOES THE BEST HE CAN AND I JUST DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO OR WHO TO CALL ABOUT THIS MATTER. HOPEFULLY THIS COMPLAINT MIGHT HELP, SO I'M TAKING THE CHANCE. IF ANYONE KNOWS WHAT I CAN DO ABOUT THIS MATTER. THANK YOU*TR
Too few reports in this category for a page of its own — they appear in the full complaint list.
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
