MULTIPLE CRACKS IN INSTRUMENT PANEL DASHBOARD, VERY COMMON ISSUE THAT, IF INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT, PIECES THAT ARE BROKEN COULD BECOME AIRBORNE AND CAUSE BODILY HARM.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 CHEVROLET TAHOE POLICE PURSUIT. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V868000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING); HOWEVER, THE PARTS TO DO THE REPAIR WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE CHEVROLET DEALER WAS CONTACTED (RK CHEVROLET 2651 VIRGINIA BEACH BLVD, VIRGINIA BEACH, VA 23452; (757) 431-6502) AND CONFIRMED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE RECALL REMEDY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AT 800-222-1020 AND WAS NOT ABLE TO CONFIRM WHEN THE PARTS WOULD BE AVAILABLE. CASE NUMBER: 8-2928956882 WAS PROVIDED. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE.
