TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 CF MOTO 250 V5 MOTORCYCLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE RIDING THE SCOOTER, THE SPEEDOMETER PROVIDED AN INACCURATE SPEED READING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE CORRECTED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 30,000. ...UPDATED 10/19/12 *BF

2009 CFMOTO CF250T V5. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO RECALL NOTICE *TGW THE DEALER INFORMED THE CONSUMER IT WOULD BE MONTHS BEFORE THE PARTS WOULD BE AVAILABLE TO FIX THE RECALL. HOWEVER, WHEN THE CONSUMER CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER, HE WAS TOLD THERE WERE PLENTY OF PARTS AVAILABLE.
