What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2020 Coachmen Encore, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

From owner reports, verbatim
Motor coach trip from St Louis to Austin TX 17SEP 2021. Once parked, owner noted that inside left rear tire on driver side had no tread on it. Tires were as received when motor coach was purchased in January 2021. Owner was able to locate a tire for replacement and mobile service to mount and install. Technician immediately noted that the treadless tire did not match the tire size of the other five tires on the coach. The tire he removed is a 235/80-R 22.5 XRV; the other tires on the coach are 255/80-R 22.5 XRV. Technician indicated that because the tire did not match the other tire next to it the tire spun, not rolled, and the tread was worn off, like a pencil eraser when it is used. Technician theorized that if the outer tire had a blowout the coach possibly could have flipped, at a highway rate of speed while also towing a vehicle. Motor coach manufacturer indicated that they receive the chassis, and that I need to contact the chassis manufacturer about the incorrect tire size. Currently attempting to retrieve that information from FORD.
Too few reports in this category for a page of its own — they appear in the full complaint list.
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
