What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2012 Coachmen Pursuit, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 COACHMEN RKS (NA) BEING TOWED BY A 2009 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 2500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE QUALITY OF THE SPRINGS WAS NOT STRUCTURALLY SOUND AND ONE OF THE SPRINGS FRACTURED WHILE DRIVING. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO ADJUST THE TRAVEL TRAILER AND TOOK IT TO A REPAIR SHOP. THE CONTACT REPLACED ONE OF THE FOUR SPRINGS. DUE TO THE FAILURE, THE OTHER THREE SPRINGS HAD TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE PREMATURE FAILURE AND INDICATED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT MANUFACTURED IN THE USA AND PROVIDED NO PERMANENT REMEDY. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE IF THE FAILURE WOULD RECUR. THE VIN AND FAILURE MILEAGE WERE NOT AVAILABLE.
Too few reports in this category for a page of its own — they appear in the full complaint list.
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
