What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2000 Country Coach Allure, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 COUNTRY COACH ALLURE. THE VEHICLE HAS TOYO TIRES, SIZE 275/70R M102Z (NA). THE CONTACT EXPERIENCED THREE BLOWOUTS WITH THREE OF THE SIX TIRES ON HIS MOTOR HOME. ALL THREE BLOWOUTS WERE APPROXIMATELY ONE TO TWO MONTHS APART. HE WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH WHEN HE NOTICED THE BLOWOUTS. NO CRASH OCCURRED. HE INSPECTED THE TIRES AND NOTICED THAT THEY APPEARED TO HAVE EXPLODED AND BARELY ANYTHING REMAINED IN THE TIRES. THE CONTACT REPLACED ALL SIX TIRES AT THE COST OF $263 PER TIRE. HE RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER (TIRES) APPROXIMATELY A YEAR AFTER REPLACING THE TIRES. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THEY WOULD HAVE TO REIMBURSE THE CONTACT FOR THE MONEY HE SPENT FOR THE TIRE REPLACEMENT. HE HAS BEEN UNABLE TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THE MANUFACTURER TO CLAIM REIMBURSEMENT. THE CONTACT DID NOT HAVE THE DOT NUMBER FOR THE TIRES BECAUSE THEY EXPLODED DURING THE FAILURE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 31,475 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,119.
Too few reports in this category for a page of its own — they appear in the full complaint list.
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
