TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 COUNTRY COACH LEXA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH, HE HEARD A LOUD NOISE COMING FROM THE ENGINE AND THE TRANSMISSION. SIMULTANEOUSLY, THE INSTRUMENT PANEL FAILED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT ALLOWED THE VEHICLE TO SIT IDLE FOR SEVERAL MINUTES BEFORE RESTARTING. THE CONTACT VEHICLE ENGAGED IN LIMP MODE ONCE RESTARTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A MECHANIC FOR INSPECTION WHERE THEY STATED THAT A MOTOR MOUNT WAS FRACTURED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE CONTACT NEEDED TO TAKE PICTURES AND MAIL THEM FOR FURTHER ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 62,997.
