The contact owns a 2015 Cruiser RV Radiance. The contact stated that while driving 55 MPH and hauling the travel trailer, there was a blowout of the RV driver's side rear tire, causing damage to the RV, and the wiring detached from the RV. The contact was able to pull over to the side of the road and replace the tire with a spare tire. The contact drove to the residence, where the RV was inspected. The contact noticed that the spare tire was worn, and the internal wires of the tire were visible. Additionally, the contact stated that the frame, where the leaf springs were mounted, was fractured, and the leaf springs brackets were bent and inclined to the left, causing the axle to be edgy and to wear the interior side of the tire sidewall. The dealer was not contacted. The RV was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and the contact sent photos of the failure to the manufacturer; however, the manufacturer denied assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 4,000.
