CONSUMER COMPLAINT CONCERNING THE 2001 LEGANZA REIMBURSEMENT FOR CAMSHAFT SENSOR. *TS THE CONSUMER HAD THE CAMSHAFT SENSOR REPAIR PRIOR TO RECALL NOTIFICATION. WHEN THE NOTICE WAS RECEIVED THE CONSUMER TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER. THE DEALER INDICATED THAT THE CONSUMER'S VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL DUE TO VIN. *NM
NHTSA RECALL CAMPAIGN 04V357000 CONCERNING CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR. THREE MONTHS AFTER RECALL REPAIRS WERE PERFORMED THE PROBLEM RECURRED. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT APPEARED ON THE DASHBOARD AND THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION, AND MECHANIC DETERMINED THAT THE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *AK
Brakes

DT: WHILE DRIVING THE BRAKE LIGHTS DID NOT ILLUMINATE WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS APPLIED. THIS WAS THE 3RD TIME THE LIGHTS WENT OUT. THE CONSUMER IS UNAWARE HOW LONG THE BRAKE LIGHT WERE OUT. THE CONSUMER DID REPAIR THE PROBLEM. *AK *NM
WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH. WHILE APPLYING THE BRAKES TO SLOW DOWN, THE BRAKES LOCKED. THIS RESULTED IN A FRONT END COLLISION. THE CAUSE OF THIS IS STILL UNDETERMINED. *NM

CAR WILL NOT COME OUT OF "PARK". HAVE TO TAKE KEY OUT OF IGNITION AND PUT IT INTO "SHIFTLOCK RELEASE," PUT THE CAR IN NEUTRAL AND THEN YOU CAN START THE CAR.*AK

WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED THE VEHICLE PULLED TO THE LEFT. THE CONSUMER WENT IN FOR AN ALIGNMENT, HOWEVER THE DEALER STATED THE ALIGNMENT COULD NOT BE PERFORMED ON THIS TYPE OF VEHICLE. PLEASE PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. *JB
BRAKE PADS AND ABS SENSOR NEED TO BE REPLACED. STEERING SHAKES WHEN BRAKING FOR A STOP. BRAKE AND ABS LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE DASHBOARD. POOR BRAKING HAS RESULTED IN EXTENDED STOPPING DISTANCE DEALER NOTIFIED OF PROBLEM.
