TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 DAMON DAYBREAK MOTOR HOME. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BRAKE CALIPER WAS OVERHEATING WHICH CAUSED THE BRAKE PADS TO BECOME SPONGY AND THE BRAKE FLUID TO OVERHEAT. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN INSPECTED OR REPAIRED AT THE TIME OF THE COMPLAINT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THE NEXT YEAR MODEL RELATED TO THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 46,400. UPDATED 7/16/10 *CN UPDATED 07/22/10*JB

BRAKES OVERHEAT IN HEAVY TRAFFIC AND LOSE STOPPING POWER. THEY WEAR PREMATURELY. I REPLACED THEM AT 30000 MILES. 3000 MILES LATER PROBLEM HAS RETURNED. MOST RECENTLY OCCURRED LAST WEEK WHEN I TOTALLY LOST BRAKING ABILITY AFTER ABOUT AN HOUR OF RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC. *TR
