Owner-reported complaints naming the seat belt system, filed with NHTSA
Data refreshed
Seat belts reportsComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

Airbag lights suddenly always on. Unknown if they are working or about to deploy. Hesitation in transmission while shifting, not sure if working properly. I haven't had any recalls fixed on this vehicle. It showed recalls and suddenly it shows all repaired. Is it due to the year?2005? Seat belts don't retract and are have to be manually maneuvered.

SINCE I HAVE PURCHASED THE CAR THERE HAVE BEEN NUMEROUS ISSUES. I DID PURCHASE THE CAR AS IS, I AM LEASING IT AT 250.00 MONTH. THE TOTAL COST OF THE CAR IS OVER 11,000 DOLLARS AND THERE ARE TOO MANY ISSUES AND PROBLEMS WITH THE VEHICLE. THE LIGHTS FOR INSTANCE SEEM TO HAVE A SHORTAGE OF SOME SORT, BECAUSE THEY COME IN AND OUT. THE REAR AIRBAG LIGHT COMES ON PERIODICALLY AND WILL NOT GO OFF. THERE SEEMS TO BE A PROBLEM WITH THE IGNITION SWITCH AS WELL. I HAVE SPENT A GOOD AMOUNT OF MONEY ON THIS VEHICLE, I WOULD LIKE TO GET MY MONEYS WORTH. I AM DRIVING AN UNSAFE VEHICLE AND I HAVE TWO CHILDREN THAT I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR DRIVING AROUND.

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
