2020 Drv Mobile Suite Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

What this page shows

Our database holds 1 NHTSA owner-reported complaint for the 2020 Drv Mobile Suite. Each one is a report filed by an owner or driver and published by NHTSA without most of them being verified. A complaint is not a confirmed defect, not a recall and not a manufacturer bulletin. Narratives are shown exactly as filed.

Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

The Goodyear G114 215 75 17.5 driver side rear tire on our 2019 DRV Mobile Suites 40KSSB4 delaminated while traveling near Olean, NY. This caused extensive damage to the drivers side kitchen slide. The tire was removed and sent to Goodyear per their request and they determined that the tire was at fault and failed. This event could have caused an accident had the delaminated tire tread come in contact with another vehicle while on the highway. The tire was found to be defective at which time Goodyear reimbursed for all expenses to repair the RV including replacing all tires. Prior to and after the tire delamination event our tire monitoring system did not notify us of any issue as the tire remained inflated. We feel that the Goodyear G114 tires supplied by DRV on our RV at the time of purchase in September 2019 are installed right at the maximum weight rating. We have had our RV weighed per tire location and we were within 400 lbs of the maximum weight allowed per tire. Although we were under the maximum allowable weight there is no safety factor left.

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
