I PURCHASED A 2013 INTERNATIONAL 4300 IN JUNE OF LAST YEAR (2017). WHILE DRIVING ON INTERSTATE 495, I TRIED TO ACCELERATE AND IN DOING SO MY TRUCK STARTED TO JERK AND SHAKE. I WASN'T ABLE TO GO OVER 25/MPH ON A BUSY HIGHWAY DURING RUSH-HOUR. MY TRUCK WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL INTERNATIONAL TRUCK REPAIR SHOP TO ACCESS THE PROBLEM. I AM BEING TOLD THAT THE ENGINE WOULD NEED TO BE TAKEN OUT AND REBUILT DUE TO LINERS 1-6. I HAVEN'T HAD THIS TRUCK A YEAR YET! I ALSO FOUND OUT FROM THE REPAIR SHOP THAT THE EXACT LINERS HAD BEEN REPLACED ON THE TRUCK IN MARCH OF LAST YEAR, THIS WAS PRIOR TO MY PURCHASING IT FROM THE DEALER.

Complaint and recall counts across every year of this model
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
