2006 Fleetwood Bounder Diesel Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 FLEETWOOD BOUNDER DIESEL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CABINETRY ON THE CEILING ABOVE THE DRIVER IS BECOMING LOOSE FROM THE CEILING FRAME. THE CABINETRY HOUSES THE TELEVISION AND TELEVISION COMPONENTS AND HE IS CONCERNED THAT IF IT CONTINUES TO LOOSEN, THE TELEVISION AND ITS COMPONENTS COULD FALL ON TOP OF THE DRIVER. THE DEALER STATED THAT HE WOULD HAVE TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPAIRS. FLEETWOOD'S CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT CLAIMED THAT THE WARRANTY WAS NO LONGER VALID; THEREFORE, THEY WERE NOT RESPONSIBLE. THE CONTACT BELIEVES THAT A RECALL SHOULD BE ISSUED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 18,000.
