Data refreshed
What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 1993 Fleetwood Bounder, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

I HAVE A '93 CHEVY P30 CHASSIS WITH THE INFAMOUS AUTO PARK BRAKE. THE SYSTEM IS UNSAFE AND I AM SCARED OF IT. THE SYSTEM WILL APPLY THE PARKING BRAKE GOING DOWN THE ROAD IF YOU LOSE POWER STEERING FLUID. MINE LEAKS, I HAVE TO CONSTANTLY MONITOR THE FLUID, IT LEAKS AT THE ACTUATOR UNDER THE COACH. GM NEEDS TO FIX THIS SYSTEM, IT CAN STOP YOU DEAD ON THE HIGHWAY, ONE ONLY CAN THINK WHAT CAN HAPPEN. PLEASE HAVE THEM FIX IT. *JB
WHEN GOING DOWN HILL THE VEHICLE FEELS AS IF IT IS IN NEUTRAL. ALSO, WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES, BY THE TIME THE VEHICLE GETS TO THE BOTTOM OF THE DECLINE, ALL THE BRAKE FLUID IS GONE AND THE BRAKES ARE INEFFECTIVE. DLR SAYS IT'S NORMAL. *AK
