What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2009 Fleetwood Bounder, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

I CURRENTLY OWN A 2009 BOUNDER RV. THE . ON MAY 28, 2011, I WAS IN ROUTE TO MYRTLE BEACH, IT BEGAN TO RAIN AND I CUT ON MY WINDSHIELD WIPERS. AFTER A FEW MINUTES, THE PASSENGER SIDE WIPER BROKE AND WAS HELD ON BY THE WINDSHIELD WIPER FLUID TUBE. I STOPPED, TOOK IT OFF, AND HAD CAMPING WORLD ORDER ME A NEW ONE, WHICH I WAS ABLE TO PUT ON BEFORE I LEFT TO GO BACK HOME. UNIT WAS NO COVERED BY WARRANTY. I WAS NOT HAPPY, BUT WOULDN'T HAVE NORMALLY THOUGHT TOO MUCH ABOUT THIS. HOWEVER, I AGAIN TRAVELED TO MYRTLE BEACH ON JULY 23, 2011. IT BEGAN RAINING AGAIN AND AFTER A FEW MINUTES THE DRIVER'S SIDE WINDSHIELD WIPER BROKE THE SAME WAY. ONCE I FOUND A PLACE TO STOP, WHICH WASN'T EASY SINCE I COULDN'T SEE, I REALIZED THAT THE WIPER WAS AGAIN HELD ON BY THE WIPER FLUID TUBE. I WAS ABLE (IN THE POURING RAIN) TO TAKE OFF THE DRIVER'S SIDE WIPER AND PUT THE WIPER FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE, THE ONE THAT HAD JUST BEEN REPLACED, ONTO THE DRIVER'S SIDE. APPARENTLY THERE MUST BE SOME SORT OF DEFECT WITH THESE WIPERS. I HATE TO THINK TO THAT EACH TIME I USE MY WIPERS, I WILL HAVE TO REPLACE ONE OR BOTH. I HAVE ALREADY SPENT $70 FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS HAPPENED AND WILL BE DOING SO AGAIN FOR THIS SECOND ONE. THIS IS TRULY A HAZARD TO MY FAMILY AND ME AND TO THOSE AROUND ME IN TRAFFIC. I WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR PROMPT ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER. *TT
Too few reports in this category for a page of its own — they appear in the full complaint list.
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
