2004 Fleetwood Fiesta Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

What this page shows

I HAVE EXPERIENCED SEIZING OF THE BRAKES IN MU 2004 FLEETWOOD FIESTA. IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT THERE IS ALREADY A RECALL ON THIS PROBLEM. THE PROBLEM DID NOT PRESENT UNTIL THIS YEAR. THE RV HAS VERY LOW MILES, BUT WAS TAKEN CARE OF AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. I NEED TO GET THE RV REPAIRED AND WANT TO BEGIN THE PROCESS OF WORKHORSE HONORING THE RECALL AND SETTING UP WITH MY LOCAL REPAIR SERVICE TO HAVE THE WORK COMPLETED. THE NUMBERS PROVIDED FOR WORKHORSE RECALL ARE BOGUS, AND THIS IS THE ONLY FORM OF COMMUNICATION I WAS ABLE TO ACCESS IN ORDER TO LEVEL A COMPLAINT.

DURING A TRIP THIS FEBRUARY FROM MICHIGAN TO FLORIDA, I NOTICED THAT THE BRAKE PEDAL WOULD NOT RETURN COMPLETELY FROM THE DEPRESSED POSITION AND THE BRAKES SEEMED TO BE DRAGGING. I BROUGHT THE RIG TO HARBERSON SWANSTON, INC. 17028 U.S. 19N CLEARWATER, FL 33764. THEIR EVALUATION FOUND THAT THE PEDAL LINKAGE AS WELL AS THE CALIPERS HAD CORROSION CAUSING BINDING. THEY RECOMMENDED CLEANING AND LUBRICATING THE LINKAGE AND CALIPERS AS WELL AS FLUSHING , REFILLING AND BLEEDING THE SYSTEM. I AUTHORIZED THE WORK AT A FINAL COST OF $800. *TR

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
