What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2005 Fleetwood Pegasus, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: WE HAD PURCHASED OUR 2005 FLEETWOOD PEGASUS FROM DAN GAMELS CAMP AMERICA IN 2007 (FRESNO, CA.). WE RECENTLY WENT ON A ROAD TRIP WITH OUR TRAILER AND THE SIDE PANELING ON THE PASSENGER SIDE RIPPED OFF AS WE WERE ON THE ROAD. AS OF TODAY, I HAVE NOT BE ABLE TO GET A HOLD OF THE DEALER BECAUSE THEY WENT OUT OF BUSINESS AND THE INSURANCE COMPANY WILL NOT REPAIR THE DAMAGES ON THE TRAILER. THE INSURANCE COMPANY CLAIMS IT HAS DRY ROT AND IT HAD BEEN LEAKING FOR A LONG TIME. THE TRAILER IS FAIRLY NEW AND WE WOULD LIKE SOMEONE TO INVESTIGATE THE ISSUE. WE FEEL THAT THE TRAVEL TRAILER HAD DEFECTIVE SEALS ON THE TOP WHICH CAUSED THE WATER TO FLOW DOWNWARD RUINING THE ENTIRE TRAILER WITH DRY ROT AND CAUSING THE PANELING TO RIP OFF DURING OUR RECENT TRIP. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME THROUGH EMAIL OR PHONE. SINCERELY, [XXXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
