TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 FLEETWOOD TIOGA. THE VEHICLE HAS A DOMETIC REFRIGERATOR, MODEL RM2652. THE CONTACT STATED THAT DOMETIC IS OFFERING A TEMPORARY REPAIR, RATHER THAN REPLACING THE REFRIGERATOR. HE CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AND THEY REFERRED HIM TO THE RECALL CENTER. THE CONTACT FEELS THAT DOMETIC SHOULD REPLACE THE ENTIRE REFRIGERATOR, AND NOT JUST INSTALL A HEAT SHIELD. THIS DOES NOT CORRECT THE DEFECT, BUT INSTEAD IT JUST KEEPS THE VEHICLE FROM CATCHING FIRE. THE RECALL AND PART NUMBERS WERE UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 12,359.
