Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

Crash reported2 injuries reported

Air bags failed to deploy in a off-center passenger side frontal collision. As a result, driver's hands remained on the wheel through collision, causing the L upper extremity to suddenly rotate approximately 210 degrees to the right causing a shoulder injury (severity at this point is uncertain). The vehicle was in for repair at Kendall Ford in Meridian, ID on 5/3/2021 for an air bag indicator light resulting in replacement of the restraint control module. It was returned to service on 5/6/2021. An insurance adjuster has inspected the vehicle, there has been no safety inspection of vehicle post-accident by qualified personnel in regards to the air bag not deploying. The vehicle is a total loss and is currently secured in our ambulance service lot. Additional pictures and drive camera video available on request.
