The defect: Forest River bus, LLC (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024 Mobility Trans Safetbus, Glaval Universal, 2025 Senator II, and Starcraft Allstar transit buses equipped with certain S-Series and K-Series wheelchair platform lifts. The electrical contactor may fail, preventing the controls from stopping the lift.
The risk: A wheelchair lift that continues to move while occupied increases the risk of injury.
The remedy: Dealers will correct the wiring by installing two diodes, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 10, 2026. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-800-348-7440. Forest River's number for this recall is 51-2093.

The defect: Forest River Bus, LLC (Forest River Bus) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Starcraft Starlite, Allstar XL, Allstar, StarTrans Senator II, Mobility Trans Safetbus, Glaval Universal, Forest River Van, Elkhart Coach, Eldorado, Candidate II, 2025 StarTrans Senator II HD, Glaval Entourage, Champion Bus, and 2026 StarTrans P/S2 transit buses equipped with certain QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.
The risk: An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit, increasing the risk of injury.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 9, 2025. Owners may contact Forest River Bus customer service at 1-800-348-7440. Forest River Buses number for this recall is 51-2001.
