2015 Forest River Georgetown Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

THE MID ENTRY DOOR WAS LOCKED AND WOULD NOT OPEN. CRAWLED INTO THE RV AND HAD TO TAKE THE DOOR LOCK APART IN ORDER TO OPEN. THIS TOOK 30 PLUS MINUTES AND IF A CHILD HAD BEEN LOCKED IN OR IF THERE WERE A FIRE THE SITUATION WOULD BE LIFE THREATENING. CHECKED THE LOCK AND THE DOOR LOCKING SHAFT BROKEN IN HALF. PHOTO ATTACHED THAT SHOWS BROKEN SHAFT. MY RV IS NOW WITH POULSBO RV TO BE FIXED.
