The defect: Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024-2026 Wildwood, Salem and 2026 Stealth EVO travel trailers. The fireplace outlet may have the incorrect wiring.
The risk: The incorrect wiring may not make adequate contact, increasing the amperage and risk of a fire.
The remedy: Dealers will replace the wiring and outlet, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 29, 2026. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-503-831-5410.

The risk: A tire can be overinflated after referencing the incorrect information, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will replace the label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 29, 2025. The distribution panel wire may be connected to the battery without over current protection.
The risk: Unprotected wiring can increase the risk of a fire.

The clip-on bracket mounting bolts may come loose, allowing the steps to detach.
The risk: Steps that detach while in use increase the risk of injury.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect and repair or replace the clip-on bracket as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 28, 2025.
