1997 Georgie Boy Cruise Master Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

WHILE DRIVING HOME FROM A WEEKEND ON A LAKE WE HAD A FLAT TIRE, INSIDE LEFT REAR, DUE TO THE FLAT THE DAMAGED TIRE CAME IN CONTACT WITH THE WIRING LOOM WHICH IS RAN IN THE WHEEL OF THE MOTOHOME. THE TIRE THEN BEGAN SPOOLING THE WIRE LOOM BETWEEN THE TWO REAR DUEL TIRES , LIKE A FISHING REAL, CAUSING OVER $7K OF DAMAGE TO THE UNIT. IT NOT ONLY DAMAGED THE WIRING AND PLUMBING, BUT DESTROYED THE FURNACE THAT IS FEED BY PROPANE. THE UNIT IS BEING REPAIRED BUT WHEN I CONTACTED THE MFG., I WAS TOLD IT MET GOV. STANDARDS AT THE TIME OF BEING PUT TOGETHER. OF COURSE ALL THE WIRES HAS BEEN CUT OUT,THE BODY SHOP AT THIS TIME STILL HAS THE FURNACE. *JB

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
