What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2005 Georgie Boy Pursuit, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 GEORGIE BOY PURSUIT MOTOR HOME. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SLIDE OUT SHEER PIN WAS FRACTURED AND CAUSED THE SLIDE OUT ROOM TO ENGAGE WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH. THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED THAT A WORN COLLAR IS WHAT CAUSED THE SHEER PIN TO BREAK. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SHEER PIN WAS TOO SMALL FOR THE WEIGHT OF THE ROOM AND THE MANUFACTURER SHOULD BE HELD LIABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 26,000. UPDATED 12/01/10. *LJ UPDATED 12/09/10

THE OVERHEAD CABINET CONTAINING TV CAME SMASHING DOWN ONTO DASHBOARD AND INTO THE WINDSHIELD CAUSING DIFFICULTY DRIVING AND EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO THE RV. AUTOMIX.NET SHOWS A RECALL #06V267000 FOR CERTAIN 2005-2007 GEORGIEBOY PURSUIT MOTORHOME SPECIFICALLY FOR THIS PROBLEM. HOWEVER, IN CONTACTING THE MANUFACTURER, THEY ADVISED US THAT OUR MOTORHOME IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE RECALL NEEDS TO BE EXTENDED TO COVER ALL COACHES WITH TV'S INSTALLED AS OURS WAS. THEY DENY ANY LIABILITY WHATSOEVER. TOLD US TO GO THROUGH OUR AUTO INSURANCE. FORTUNATELY FOR US, WE WERE ABLE TO SEE THE BRING THE MOTORHOME TO A SAFE STOP. *TR
