What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 1999 GMC C/K Pickup, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

I CALLED MICHAEL GMC, 3700 S CARSON, CARSON CITY NV TO HAVE A STICKY ACCELERATOR PEDAL ON MY 1999 GMC SIERRA PU REPAIRED. I STATED I KNEW OF A TSB ISSUED FOR THIS DEFECT. I WAS TOLD THERE WAS NO TSB. I CHECKED VIA THE INTERNET AND FOUND TSB #00-06-04-007A HAD BEEN ISSUED IN JUN 00. I HAVE FOUND A GM DEALER WHO WILL REPAIR THIS FOR ME. BUT I THINK THAT HOHL SHOULD NOT HAVE REFUSED TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM UNDER THE TSB. DO I HAVE ANY RECOURS TO HOHL FOR MISLEADING ME?*AK
