What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 1994 GMC C/K Pickups, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

Interior & seats
Reports naming seats, latches, locks, linkages and interior fittings.
From owner reports, verbatim
THE SLIDE ON THE PASSENGER SEAT, SOMETIMES WHEN YOU HAVE TO SLAM ON THE BRAKES TO MISS A VEHICLE THE PASSENGER SEAT COMES UNLATCHED FROM THE SLIDE AND IT CAUSES THE SEAT TO SLIDE FORWARD INTO THE DASH AND IF THE RIGHT ACCIDENT COULD CAUSE INJURIES TO MY PASSENGERS. IT MAKES ME SCARED TO THINK IF WHAT IF THE DRIVER SEAT WOULD DO THAT TO. I SCARED TO HAVE PASSENGERS RIDE WITH ME.
