2013 GMC Denali Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

What this page shows

Our database holds 5 NHTSA owner-reported complaints for the 2013 GMC Denali. Each one is a report filed by an owner or driver and published by NHTSA without most of them being verified. AROUND 50K THE SIDE DETECTION WARNING SYSTEM AND PARK ASSIST QUIT WORKING. UPON TAKING IT IN FOR REPAIRS WE FIND THAT THIS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM FOR THIS VEHICLE, AND REPLACEMENT PARTS ARE AT A SHORTAGE..DUE TO HIGH VOLUME OF REPAIRS. WE CALLED GM CUSTOMER CARE AND THEY STATE THERE IS NO RECALL AND OUR REPAIR WILL BE OVER $1000 TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. WE FEEL THIS IS UNFAIR PRACTICE SINCE THEY ARE AWARE THEY HAVE THIS PROBLEM.

DASHBORD SEPARATING DOWN THE CENTER. WHEN THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION, THE DASHBOARD FLAPS. THIS IS A DEFAULT ISSUE WITH THE COMPANY. ALSO, CRACK ON THE LEFT SIDE PASSENGER AIRBAG. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN. IF THE AIRBAG DEPLOYS THE ENTIRE DASHBOARD WITH DISMANTLE CAUSING SERIOUS BODILY HARM.

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
