What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 1994 GMC K15, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1994 GMC K15. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS FAIL TO WORK PROPERLY. THE WIPERS DO NOT OPERATE AS THEY SHOULD, BUT RATHER INTERMITTENTLY. THE CONTACT BELIEVES THAT THE CIRCUIT BOARD WAS THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. HE DISCOVERED A RECALL THAT LISTED AN IDENTICAL FAILURE; HOWEVER, THE DEALER STATED THAT HIS VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE CONTACT FEELS THAT THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS COULD STOP WORKING AND REDUCE VISIBILITY. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN INSPECTED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE WIPER FAILURE OCCURRED REGULARLY FOR THE PAST TWO YEARS. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 171,000.
Too few reports in this category for a page of its own — they appear in the full complaint list.
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
