WHEN APPLYING BRAKES AT 45 MPH AND ABOVE THE BRAKES RESIST. OWNER HAS HAD THE BRAKE PADS AND SHOES REPLACED THREE TIMES. DEALER IS AWARE OF PROBLEM. *AK

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1994 GMC PICKUP TRUCK. AFTER HE STARTED THE VEHICLE HE LEANED BACK TO THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE AND HE FELT SOMETHING FALL APART ON THE DRIVER FRONT SEAT. HE ALSO NOTICED THAT THE BROKEN METAL BOLTS ON THE SEAT CAUSED THE SEAT TO MOVE FROM SIDE TO SIDE. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO DUE TO THE AGE OF THE VEHICLE. HE ALSO HAD TO REPLACE THE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR. THE VEHICLE WILL BE REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 133,722.
CONSUMER COMPLAINED ABOUT WINDSHIELD WIPER PROBLEM. CONTACTED BOTH THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER, AND THEY BOTH STATED THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS ON THIS VEHICLE. CONSUMER MAINTAINED THAT THERE WERE OTHER RECALLS ON VEHICLE.*AK......WONDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR FAILED, MAKING WIPERS INOPERATIVE. THIS VIN SHOULD HAVE BEEN INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THIS VEHICLE DEALS WITH SIMILAR FAILURE. *AK
