RIGHT FRONT TIRE TREAD AND STEEL BELTS SEPERATED FROM TIRE BODY. THIS CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE FENDER,STEP,RIGHT REAR VIEW MIRROR,AND WHEEL COVER. WAS TRAVLING AT 58 MPH WHEN TREAD CAME OFF. WAS ABLE TO PULL TO SIDE BEFORE TIRE WENT FLAT.THE SPEED LIMIT ON THIS HIGHWAY IS 70 MPH. HAPPY THAT I WAS NOT GOING THAT FAST.

THE CONSUMER HAS HAD A TOTAL OF FOUR FIRESTONE STEELTEX RADIAL RS4 II TIRE FAILURES. *NM THE FIRST OCCURRENCE THE RIGHT OUTSIDE REAR TIRE TREAD SEPARATED, THE SECOND OCCURRENCE THE CONSUMER DISCOVERED THE RIGHT REAR INNER TIRE WAS FLAT. THE THIRD INCIDENT SOME WIRING AND INSULATION HAD CAME OFF THE TIRE. THE LAST OCCURRENCE THE DRIVER SIDE OUTSIDE BLEW OUT AND CAUSED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE MOTORHOME. *JB
