THE BRAKE COMPRESSOR FAILED TO FUNCTION WHEN ENGAGED GOING DOWN AN INCLINE. THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED INSTEAD OF SLOWING DOWN/STOPPING. WHEN THIS OCCURRED, REPEATED DEPRESSION OF THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS APPLIED. THE FAILURE WAS DUE TO A COMPUTER GLITCH BECAUSE OF A PROGRAMMING PROBLEM. A DIAGNOSTIC TEST WAS PERFORMED BUT SINCE NO FAULT CODE WAS FOUND NO REPAIR HAS BEEN DONE. THIS IS ON A CHEVROLET CUT AWAY CHASSIS. NO ENGINE BRAKING . VEHICLE ACTUALLY ACCELERATES GOING DOWN HILL, DANGEROUS CONDITION. PLEASE NOTE THAT SUBSEQUENT MODES PRODUCED HAD AN AUXILLARY TRANS BRAKE INSTALLED FROM GM. *BF *NM
