GULFSTREAM RV YEAR 2002 (BODY IS A 2001); APPROX 11,000 MILES. I WAS APPRXOIMATELY 30 MILES SOUTH OF GREEN BAY , WISCONSIN WHEN A COUPLE IN A WHITE SEDAN FLAGGED ME OVER. THEY TOLD ME THAT ONE OF MY RV WINDOWS HAD FLOWN OUT AND HAD SMASHED IN THE ROADWAY. FORTUNATELY, THEY SAID THAT THE FLYING WINDOW HAD NOT HIT ANY CARS AND WAS SMASHED SO THOROUGHLY THAT THERE WAS PROBABLY LITTLE LEFT TO BLOCK ANY TRAFFIC. I CALLED GULFTSTREAM MANUFACTURER AND THEY SAID SINCE IT WAS OVER ONE YEAR OLD THAT THEY HAVE NO LIABLILITY. (THE WINDOW MANUFACTURER SENT ME A NEW WINDOW.) HOWEVER, I AM CONCERNED THAT SUCH A NEW VEHICLE WOULD BE SO BADLY MADE THAT WINDOWS CAN FLY OUT . MANY PEOPLE COULD HAVE DIED. THE GULFTSREAM HEAD OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS STATED ABSOLUTELY THAT EVEN THOUGH THEY PUT THE WINDOW TOGETHER, THAT THEY HAVE NO REPONSIBILITY AND DO NOT INTEND TO LOOK INTO THE MATTER FURTHER.
