The defect: IF THE WIRING OF CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM BECOMES WET WHILE ENGAGED, THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF CREATING A SHORT CIRCUIT AND CRUISE CONTROL MALFUNCTION.
The risk: THIS COULD CAUSE THE SPEED TO BEGIN INCREASINGAUTOMATICALLY WITH POTENTIAL FOR LOSS OF CONTROL AND AN ACCIDENT.
The remedy: REPLACE CRUISE CONTROL MODULE.

HARLEY DAVIDSON FRAME RUST THROUGH AT REAR SUSPENSION MOUNT BOSS. NO FAILURE YET, DETECTED THIS WHILE DOING MAINTENANCE ON SUSPENSION. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE YET. NEED TO WARN OTHERS.. MAYBE GET SOME FACTORY HELP, FOR REPAIRS. *JB
